POOPS last year at Choctaw had a nice facility too.
We had a nice selection of auction items and the Children's Egg Contest was really fun.
Hope to hear from the planners....

Fog has lifted nicely and I have planted some tomato and pepper seeds in seedling pots. Plan on heading back out to the garden to put up the chicken wire around the garden perimeter and to work on a few more beds. Yesterday was able to clean out the asparagus beds and the three big beds to plant onions and soon the potatoes. Need to clean out some of the panel beds to make room for the peas.

I would like to say I really enjoyed the location of the last POOPS in Choctaw and it is pretty centrally located, I will step out and put my vote in for this location as of now! Thanks, Lynn

OK!!! Is there anyone IN, NEAR, or GOING THROUGH Stillwater in the next day or two that has a shipping box for 3 standard size chickens I could have or buy!!! I need to ship out some birds to Georgia by Monday if possible, CAN MEET IN STILLWATER, ANY TIME. Thanks, Lynn

I too think Choctaw is nice, but if no one in the Choctaw area is cordinating the planning then the location wouldn't be practical IMO. At Choctaw we don't have to worry about cars with the younger children, they have a huge space to run & play --- that is a BIG plus. But I think an area with a kitchen makes food easier, plus having an enclosed building available would be nice if the weather isn't good. Anyone remember how cold it was in 2011 at POOPS in Fletcher???? We were all freezing!
There are pros & cons to everything. Anyone heard from Monty or Sooner about Poops?

Jealous of those who are seeing rain. Temps ust dropped fast here in the past hour, but doesn't look like the rain is coming. Got 0.01 yesterday, does that count???

Not sure what you need here, but I am going to Cushing for my sons wrestling tournament on Saturday. Live and work in OKC area, I am sure I could get boxes for you here if that is what you need. Not sure how they would get to Georgia by Monday though.

Monty is Buckguy, I heard he was having trouble getting on BYC a while back, not sure if he has yet resolved the situation.

Last year I hired two off-duty Muskogee police officers. The contract with the fairgrounds requires the person renting the facility to find his or her own security staff.
