***OKIES in the BYC III ***

was looking for some crafty ( cheap ) ideas to plant my roses bushes in so i didnt have to put them in the ground and i come across this ,thought it was pretty neat and would share it

so any idea on something i can use as a planter for my rose bushes for awhile, so i can move them around and see exactly where i want them or i get the land im wanting , id hate to have to plant them in the ground and leave them

Donnie if you are considering planting inside bricks you may need to line the brick before adding dirt. Can't remember exactly, but the bricks will change the PH of the soil. If it wasn't the PH it is something else. Also it will be hard to keep the soil moist without a liner. You could cut up old feed bags to line inside the brick.
Taron already sold all the chicks she hatched this plus the ducks from last wk. She has a few more ducks hatching today so we may still make it to the auction if the weather isn't too awful.

I do love our insurance, but today they are frustrating me! I feel like I have talked to a dz people to get 1 prescription filled. Not sure how many more phone calls it will take Monday.

Today was a horrible day here at my house. A day I knew in my heart was coming, but hoped would not. Gardening won't be the same this year, Yeta the wonder chicken is gone. Everyone knows she wasn't one to be stopped by a fence, well today she hopped the wrong fence. My heart is heavy, but she got a better life then a lot of other chickens.

Kass so sorry you lost Yetta!!!! She has been an amazing girl that provided lots of good stories.

Our weather just changed quick here, all the goats & chickens went into their houses on their own. I hope the storms are mild & everyone stays safe.

I'm sorry to hear about your baby Kass, I dread the day I have to go through that pain. It's hard enough when I've had to put my one of my cats or dogs down. I hope everyone is safe wherever yall are at, the wind has picked up a bit over here.
