***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Ceocka sorry about the losses in your flock. The Cement auction kicks off this Saturday or June 15th you can catch the Newcastle sale. Another good option is Michael D. He usually has nice birds a available.
I have lots of chicks! I probably have around 50+ in the brooders. Just need buff orphingtons and RIR for our egg eaters.
another color that I have been working on is chocolate motteled old English game bantams
. Omg these are beautiful! Are you selling any? I love the color!

Any of you poor jealous souls over the raspberries, this fall I will have berry vines that could be moved, from the bed I dug them from this past fall, I missed many roots and they are all coming up from where I had dug the bed "free" of raspberries.
i would love some but i doubt i could make over there.

Jo DO NOT let my 11yr old son see your bantam OEs!!!! He does not need anymore but those are beautiful! Took a picture of Kurt's new hatch. He hatched him in a old round metal incubator we bought last year. He set 8 eggs and this was the only to hatch so what else could I do but go to Atwoods and buy some pullets for him to grow up with. Not sure I will let him keep him or not but so far he is a good boy. I think he has 3 or 4 more that the Broodys hatched out so need to see if he will sell those we can't keep everything here in town lol. Kass I am glad you posted those onion pics. I have one growing in my iris bed and thought it was an odd looking iris lol
Odd iris but pretty onion There is a flower in the onion family that is grown as a flower not onion, I believe that is one, but can't remember the name.
Allium ...a whole series. Also leeks have the same purple colored flower.

Those interested in raspberries, just remind me in the fall it seriously is no problem I have plenty, once established in a place they like they are almost invasive. For those near enough to Henryetta or Muskogee to pick them up that is great, those of you in the far reaches of OK if you are willing to pay shipping I can package them up for you.

Gary was just watching some of the old school house rocks commercials, they had a multiplication one I had not remembered from childhood that just blew my mind!!!!!!! They subtracted to teach children to multiply, so the moral of that story is don't watch the schoolhouse commercials after your second glass of wine! lol lol lol

Glad your stock are ok! We were lucky too, and have had some newborn heifers in between the storms - but with plenty of time to get their feet under them before having to learn how to swim! :) Our pond is the fullest we have ever seen, there is water flowing out of it via the cowpath on the side...but so far everything appears to be working as designed.

400

Starting another 4x8 raised coop!

Looking to get out of the chicken business. If anyone needs/ wants some birds in the Yukon area, let me know. Or if you know of any auctions coming up.
