Gentian Violet is a purplish liquid used for thrush in human babies and/or nursing moms. It is topical, so just swab the throat like you were doing before. It stains so be careful. You can buy it at any pharmacy.

Diflucan is a prescription antifungal. Don't know that you could get it or what the dose would be unless you went through a vet.

someone suggested spraying his throat with vetrycin, it is used specifically for thrush, i also heard about something in the parrot pages about a stuff called avipow, used for yeast infections, learning alot on this one. Since i have vetrycin i am trying that to see if there is a change, he does seem more alert

Yes I cringed at the mention of a knife near the teste, in a deep dark hole where you vision is being occluded by tools and then taking a knife to a vascular area

That would take me some hands on visualizing w/ a good caponizer before I'd attempt that w/ those vague descriptions.

Lol, this is the first time I have tried the black cherry tomatoes. There pretty good. I grow them again next year.
