Cute. You can make zucchini candy out of it, skin it cube it simmer about 20 minutes in koolaid sugar water (or fruit juice) then dehydrate until chewy.

Those are some pretty blue girls. the girl I got from you at POOPS, Lola, is getting big. Her head and hackles are going to be dark blue.
My broodies have hatched 21 chicks so far in the past week. - Mille Fleur Cochins and Wheaten Ameraucanas and some crosses from my Blue Ameraucana hen and my Wheater Ameraucana roo.
Also growing in my flock now -
Joe rescued a Blue Game chick that nearly drowned when it hatched under a ramp at Jack's during the last hail storm. We call it Stormy, works for a boy or girl.
Then, this week a game hen hatched 8 chicks under a bush in Jack's front yard right by the front door. After she moved the 8 to Jack's back yard a 9th chick hatched late all by itself. "Slow Poke" is now in my brooder.
And...... a Guinea keet came running up our front side walk !? We guess it is from one of the guineas that are part of Jack's flock and the free range ones that move from the place across 29th Street into the woods and now roam our neighborhood and lunch with Jack's birds. Seems like it came from nowhere. It is already a couple of weeks old. I thought it is a lavender but it has a lot of tan it it. I will have to post a pic.
The game chicks can only stay it they are girls and are nice to my Cochins. Jack's games are all Blue Reds and just beautiful. They have the run of Jack's backyard. The roo, Rojo, may be the most beautiful rooster I have ever seen. He hops the fence and walks right into Jack's garage when his is working there.
The guinea may be too loud to stay in our pens. I don't know if it will be happy with only chickens or if it can going Jack's guineas? Can guineas become very tame?
