***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Sometimes even I am amazed at the sheer level my masochism can reach!!!!! You guys know I'm attempting the Doctor Who quilt squares, well do I start w/ an easy one ............................................ why of course not!!!!!! I start w/ the Citadel on Gallifrey, all 19 sections containing anywhere from 5-12 pieces in each section. (this is for a 12 inch square) Does it stop there, am I content w/ average masochism, NO. You see the city is in a bubble, so I get this bright idea that my city must have the bubble represented in it. So now trying to figure out how to achieve the bubble, then since bubbles are circular they must intersect at and through several individual groups of pieces at just the right spot and angle!!!!!! Since this is paper piecing I am doing this on the back side of the paper and in mirror (reverse) image!!!!!

Good to see you here again. Welcome back. We missed you.

So after you get settled in, and get re-acquainted with your chickens, please fill us in on your trip.

Here! Here I really am looking forward to hearing about your trip to China... So glad you are home Betsy!

Oh hey, Elwood! You inspired me... I bought a wine chiller and have big plans for it... that don't involve wine.
I bought a digitally temperature control beer cooler that I use to keep my hatching eggs in stasis until I hatch or ship them. Fortunately I got it at a great price and it has worked great for years.

Drum roll please .............................................................

Here it is at last, Gallifrey block

It has some errors, but I didn't have it in me to rip one more stitch let alone a whole seam!!!!!!!

And the guilty returing to the scene of the crime!

Wow! Errors and all, this is quite impressive!. I suspect that you are the only one that will ever see them (the errors). Nice job!!!

awesome job it looks great!!

Thanks everyone. I have decided to make the blocks that really speak to me in the collection and then over size them, choose a special quote to pair w/ the block and make a set of framed art instead of a quilt. If I made them into a whole quilt I would never put the quilt on the bed b/c I wouldn't want anything to happen to it, so I would never get to see and enjoy it, but as framed art I will get to see them everyday.
