He is very beautiful - like a lavender but with areas of tan. I think it is called Buff Dunnette (?)

Oh that would would be cause for me to get angry as well. Giving you old eggs and saying they are fresh is ridiculous! I can only hope this is a fresh batch. If I only get even just one to hatch though I will be jumping for joy! She was nice enough to give me 4 extra eggs. I'm so excited but hope I do it just right. Give the little things a better chance by doing my "homework" any way. The person who I am borrowing the bator from gave me some of her bantom eggs to hatch for her. I hope I can get some of those to hatch for her. That would be awesome. I am so nervous as to when I should add them. Should I wait or put them in right now? I just started my eggs last night around 6-ish. I would hate to start her eggs then shrink wrap them with the humidity down some. What would you all do? Add the bantom eggs right now or give them one more day? Sorry about all the questions. I just cant find anything on the web to tell me what to do.

I honestly don't know how it works with Guineas. If yours are free range I imagine you could just put him in with them and he'll integrate. He's been raised only with chickens, so he actually might do fine with the younger ones that have been hen raised. He's never been with Guineas.how hard i it to integrate a lone guinea? i do have a couple young ones, being raised by a hen, i could put him in a pen near them, maybe they would accept him??
ksane, are you sure you don't need that frizzle roo from mskitn??? she is desperate to find him a home
Kyzmette! You are so like me! i can't turn my back on a situation like that
Those are beautiful birds! Where did you go to get them? I always miss all the good auctions.![]()
Oh poor girl! It seems crazy that they molt so late in the fall. It worries me with my girls because the cold days/nights we have been getting...
Sc is scaleless, they will have a missing row of scales longwise on thier legs. If a carrier they have even less feathering then a nn, and if they "express" they will be featherless.I think that White Butt is very cool looking! How can you tell that someone is carrying the sc gene? (and what is that exactly - I think I've forgotten)
