I'm finally moved to my 10 acres in Marlow. I got a rooster. He won't stop crowing! He started at about 4am and keeps it up all day. We have a city light in the backyard. I think that's confusing him. We put cardboard up in the window and door of the coop but it didn't seem to help much. I might try putting him in something small so he can't stretch out to crow, but that seems cruel. Does anybody have any ideas to keep him from crowing until dawn? I don't mind it during the day but 4am is too early!
Congrats on the move!
Roosters crowing early in the morning is kinda what they do

But I rekon you can try using a beak cover. If they can`t open their mouth, I doubt if they can crow.
