Haha I have a 4 week old chick crowing in the brooder- didn't realize what it was until the 3rd time I heard it. EARLY boy hormones in my leghorn mixes that's for sure!!

@TRUE5 OMG! She is stunning! Wow! As far as her cold- this is the advice i was given by NanaKat- feeding medicated hog starter pellets with oxytetracycline for two weeks helps with the respiratory sinus stuff, along with either Duragard or Gallimycin-

How did they send them priority?! My understanding is legally live animals are required to ship Express. I've ordered from Meyer before and they came promptly, I think 3 days total in shipping. Yours SHOULD be OK. Make sure you open the box AT the post office (take clippers or something to cut the tape and ties) so if there are losses the PO can document them. Meyer will credit you for any lost in transit (it requires your order again to make a full shipment but at least it's not a complete loss). Can I get some reassurance please!!!
I ordered 16 babies from Meyer and was expecting them at latest on Wed (they hatched Mon).
I tracked the package this morning......they sent them 3 DAY PRIORITY.
They won't be here until THURSDAY![]()
When I ordered my other batches through MM they were here within 48 hours. What is Meyer thinking?
My PO Master is awesome and knows they are coming, and I am well prepared for them (quick chick and feed, and basic meds).
4 days just seems like a LONG time for my poor little ones!!! Anyone else had luck with long shipments?
i'd contact the manager at your post office and get some direct answers on where they are currently-
