I have black Ameraucanas but won't have any old enough to sex until mid summer to fall. Only selling chicks right now, they are selling as fast as I can hatch them.

So pretty!!!! That roo is gorgeous! But yeah I definitely need some a bit older so I can be sure of gender and I need some ready to be outside. But if I do end up needing chicks I will definitely keep you in mind!

This is our scarecrow to keep the crows out of the chicken feed. The head is a mold of my husband's head that kept him still during radiation on his neck. I think he did a fantastic job making this.

i have heard crows keep Hawks away so i don't mind them as much any more.

I never knew finding some lavs or blacks would be such a task!! I'm hoping to find someone to sell a few olderish pullets. The search goes on!

I'm going to a breeder in Texas in May to pick up chicks and he might have some layers for sale but they'll be $25. Let me know if you are interested and I can check availability.

Checkers and Brave just started laying. It's hard to believe they went and grew up on me. I just noticed the other day that they went and put on their big girl skirts.

Do you guys think there would be any interest in the Buff Brahma Bantams? The chicks of Buffy and Van Helsing are happy, healthy and strong, not even a spraddleleg in the hatches now. If so, I could bring a pair for the POOPS raffle.
