My next door neighbors have been losing a lot of young turkeys to some kind of sickness . I have six young turkeys an two adult turkeys , is there something I need to be on the look out for? The only thing between us is a field fence.

cocciodosis seems to be particularly bad this year. Where did you say you live?Well, I think I'm ready to rehome Beauty. I'd love to keep her, but she really just isn't happy as an indoor chicken. She's obviously never really been handled before and just isn't adjusting to indoor life. She's the Sumatra (or Sumatra X, not sure) on the left. Very pretty with the black comb and dark wattles. Her wings have been clipped by her previous owner (though, I'm sure she is a very strong flier otherwise, so I can't really blame them). Quarantine ends the weekend after next. I will be separating her from Flower then, and though she can stay indefinitely, she'll be so much happier outside.

Well drat. I would rehome her for you, but I'm north of Tulsa. There are a bunch of peeps in the OKC area, though.
