I think she just needs more time to adjust, it's only been a week. It takes chickens a couple months to settle in before you see what they're really like. Taming takes trust and she's not going to trust you yet.

That's a long way to drive for one chicken, but I've seen people do stranger stuff for the love of chickens.
Some one has already suggested an amorous rooster...also the heat and molting will give that appearance. Check for tiny mites as suggested. Treat if you find them.
