Hey, @Sharkman Dan, do you want some EE chicks? Or anybody else? I have Legbar mixes that are stinking adorable, have never been introduced to the flock, and should lay blue to olive eggs.

Robin,
I must plead ignorance. ACV? Not sure what that is.
In my world, ACV, means Army Combat Vehicle. I doubt that's it.
Where are you at?? I'd fight for the Dorkings lol
Good looking naked neck kassundra... wow makes mine looking to be on extreme makeover hahaha
I'm glad you're starting to feel better. I feel so bad that those girls are such a hassle. I will let you know as soon as I can take them, which will be later this month. Thank you so much for taking care of them. Sounds like alot of duck drama. I'll show Arlo the pictures tonighthe's gonna love hearing about the drama. He thinks pecking orders are hilarious, as long as no one gets seriously hurt-he has no tolerance for that. Thank you again for everything. Arlos been working on another present for you.

I'm in Claremore but I can meet in Tulsa. Don't know if that helps...
Unhappy results with my last hatch....not a single chick hatched...9 Serama and 9 mixed Bantams. I think the thermometer was the problem. It was reading 99.5 but the real temperature was probably lower. They were alive when I removed the auto turner on day 18. That made the actual temperature a tad lower. Humidity was good. They didn't hatch on Aug 1. Candled tonight and had no movement. Eggtopsy tonight showed different sized yolks that were not completely absorbed and in several there was albumen like about day 19. Guess I'll be working on getting a digital thermometer kit for the Hovabators.
Three hens with eggs due to hatch on Aug 1 had great hatches.
ACV is like a staple in my chicken keeping. I love it and the health benefits are great! I have even used it for myself and my kids. But you have to get the one that says "with the mother". Good stuff!!!
Don't you be calling me and Arlo's girls a hassle lol They're just being ducks and they're not a hassle at all. I love being able to keep them for him. Now that they're settled in the 10x10 kennel they don't have as much room but they're safe and separated so nothing will happen to them. I'm going to miss them and their loud voices-who'd have thought ducks could out-quack a rooster crowing?! But my 3 ornery ducks are going to be plenty for me.
