We have 2 very sweet guinea pig girls. They're 4 years old now and looking a lot less perky we got them as babies. Arlo named his Ash.Rudy's a hoot, Kass lol!! Love him.![]()
This really good English Lop breeder offered me too good of a deal to refuse![]()
So I accidentally got 4 more rabbits. These are the ones with 12" and way longer ears. I'm going to go broke getting all these guys spayed and neutered, somehow there's 11 of them now-jeez. Boys & girls are all separated though so at least I won't have baby Buns to worry about. Here's 1 of the new ones, she's the twin sister of my other 3 mo old English Lop.
And OMG! The coolest looking Guinea Pig brothers!! Ashley, your son would love them! They're like teeny rabbits.
Back to catch up now!
I was just wondering if he flapped his little wings like everyone else. He's so cute. I think I'd be sad he wouldn't be soft to pet though.

The gene is Na or na all chickens get one from each parent. It is straight forward, so very easy.
NaNa - little or no bow tie (neck feather patch)
Nana - large bow tie
nana - no naked neck fully neck feathered
There are a few modifier genes, like pea comb, either Nana or NaNa w/ a pea comb lessens feathers even more (all over)
It never hides (Na) if you don't see it the chicken is na, can't pass Na on
So do you try to breed for Nana or NaNa? Does the bow tie make feather plucking much more work?
Kass, I have an English Orp that has what I think is the naked neck gene. I wasn't really happy with that since I don't care for naked necks. I thought of offering it to you, but I thought it might have too many feathers on the neck to appeal to you.
