I can't get anything done today. I need to think about something other than hatching eggs and pips and silkie babies. 2 have pipped now, it's been 12 hours since the first one and no progress.

Not sure where you are, but the Labor day Afton poultry swap is Sat. Sun. and Monday. That's south of the Buffalo ranch/truck stop, (Junctions Hwys 69, 60, 59), go south on Hwy 59 bout 3 miles, (on the right going south)
We have a hatchling!!!! Arlo and I were there to watch it hatch. So very sweet, he looks perfect!3 more pipped.

Here's some pics of my babies who hatched on day 19! 2 blue DL barnies and some buff orphingtons. I hear more peeping in the bator!

I set 3 eggs once in the small Brinsea at the same time. All 3 hatched but the Bantam Ameraucana hatched on Day 18, the other 2 hatched on Day 20. All 3 are girls, too. How lucky was that?
