***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Greetings, Okies:
This is the time of year people start buying baby chicks. Rather than taking what you can find, what's left over, or what "might" be a pullet, consider joining my order from Privett Hatchery.

I'm going to order from Privett Hatchery in New Mexico on Tuesday afternoon (March 8th). I'm not associated in any way with the hatchery. I'm just trying to save a little money and make it possible for others to order birds and avoid boxing fees. If you're in NE Oklahoma and close enough to Haskell, Coweta, or Muskogee to pick up birds, and you want to be part of this order, please let me know.
You can send me your information and request breeds and quantities by using the email option at the bottom of the contact page on my website. This way everyone has a record of what's ordered.
You can cut and paste the URL for the Waddle Bock Farm contact page:
http://waddlebockfarm.myfreesites.net/contact
Use the email option at the bottom of the contact page. That way you can enter your message and I'll have an email record of your questions and requests.
When I know what everyone wants, I'll collect your money via PayPal and place the total order. You'll pay for your birds via PayPal. I can't do COD as I have to pay for the birds before Privett will ship them. I'm trying to order larger quantities to avoid boxing fees.
There's a link for Privett Hatchery below. Thanks, and happy chick shopping : ) Thanks! ~ Coral Hale at Waddle Bock Farm

It fill's awfully light IrionSight. Maybe not enough humidity and the air sac got to big. But I put it in the nest box for another hen to give it a try anyway.

I haven't been online since before the fires. Still catching up. Was in the process of moving those days. My new neighbor and old friend was fighting a fire between Nowata and Vinita and got hit by a car. Multiple breaks in 1 leg. While driving late that night to come check on his stock had to stop to help control 2 hay bales on fire by someone's house to keep it from spreading. That was a rough day for all fire fighters. But good news my Cornish hen just hatched 7 outta 9 eggs.

I saw that on the news.

We had fires to the south and east all day yesterday. The smoke was so thick that I had to keep the kiddos inside. The wind out of the south is blowing so strongly today that one can hardly tell there was a fire. We saw four fire trucks working on the fire to the east yesterday. The fire to the south was too far away to see how many trucks were at that site.

the fires are scary. Looking forward to the much needed rain this week. It will be a blessing.

I'd gladly give yall our rain. It hasn't rained since last week but the ground is still a little wet. We've been hit by those two hundred year floods months within one another and I'm sick of the rain.
