Anyone near Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Missouri or Northeastern Oklahoma raise Indian Runner Ducks?? I’d really like to buy some hatching eggs.

I don't have any eggs to sell, but I am incubating eggs. I should have some fawn runner ducklings next month.

Oh, I understand now why you wanted eggs. Good luck on the hatch. I hope they hatch during the time the kids are able to watch them.

New Oklahoma City ordinance allowing urban chickens and quail! City Council voted 6-3 at their meeting this morning. I can't wait to finally have my own flock.

Details from Freepressokc.com:
"The ordinance prohibits rooster ownership but allows the ownership of six domestic hens or quail.

Coops must be behind the dwelling and must have ten feet of separation between the coop and the rear of the property, and no closer than five feet on the side property line, and at least 30 feet from any adjacent dwelling.

The birds must be kept inside the coop from dusk until dawn, and they cannot be kept inside the owner’s dwelling."

We did ok, water froze oooops. Finally got it back yesterday. Birds all did fine. No frostbite thank goodness.
