When I first started raising chickens several years ago, I used to flip through the poultry catalogs and always thought it would be cool to get one of those caponizing kits - not that I really knew what I would do with capons, but the concept sounded cool. Doc, if you haven't figured it out yet, I doubt that I would be able to without extensive practice. I like your idea of practicing on the butchered roos before you actually clean them.

I woke up grouchy this morning. I think mainly just because I had to get up.
Lots and lots to do today. Hopefully being busy will put me in a better spirit.
