that is blasfemy.... we only assist others in aquiring what they want most in life.. It just happens to be these beautiful animals who can be used to reduce stress, create laughter on an otherwise dreary day, and feed the family at times.

See we are helping each other...

I have had Buff Columbian, either white or splash, white laced red, and a whole host of other colors from the Blue laced red so I sold them and the breeders that threw them. I think I still have one or two very young ones. I need the white / splash chick from the Blues to clean up leg color some more as it is perfectly yellow legged.

Do you want the odd colored? I have one from teh Black / Blue that appears to be blue barred.

Anyway, PB, do you think it could have been that it was a He? My cochin hens are the most docile of my chickens.

you have any cochin hens for poops?? my direction for the large birds are EE's and cochins

Robin,
Sorry I sold the three Buff hens, and a quad of Golden Laced, and a quad of Partridge, and a lot of black and blue young birds here a while back.
I have a total of 16 young birds, 3 of which go to Lil-Sooner, and 4 to Cleo. I can bring some if you want the younger birds...

If you are trying to get the color better and th ehens have good type, you should save the pullets from the new rooster to place back under him, thier color will be much better as the male provides the color for the pullets, and thens provide the type. while the cockrells get their color equally from each parent.

We are both in luck, I have 1 he is still young about 12 weeks old but nice, legs are not perfectly yellow but not too much smutty color to them either.

Lol. I'll try to get a decent pic of them tomorrow. After being caught and soaped, they didn't want anything more to do with me today.
