***OKIES in the BYC III ***

My giant cochin has taken a couple of days off and the bantams don't lay every day, most of them average 5 eggs in 7 days.
Jack's never seem to stop except in the winter.

Suzi and Vern - Funchick, live in Piedmont. Hope they are ok.
OKC schools sent us all home early day, the kids were really confused.

They sent you home because the kids were confused?? We would have never had school when I was kid because we were confused all the time.

Okiehollow so glad to hear your baby survived. I've got my chickens padlocked in the tight coop and hoping for the best.
It has started. El Reno got hit by a tornado that took out the messanet? station. Our local news has been covering the wedge tornado footage and says it's gonna be really bad tonight. My cousins BF lives in Edmond, brand new expensive house he just bought, but it has a safe room and I called her and the kids area already in the safe room. My cousin lives in Tulsa but she watches out for the kids.
Everyone please take great care and batten down the hatches and be safe and do not drive into water you can't tell how deep it is! We're already having a run of severe bulletins on tv so won't be on here too long.....

Warning: surge protectors DO NOT protect computers. You must unplug from the wall. My phone co. even said to completely unplug the DSL from the wall or lightning can fry the surge protector and blow the unit. I unplug my surge protector and all from the wall, including all my air conditioners....the digital units are very sensitive to power surges so unplug anything you don't want to lose in the lightning storms!
