***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have been at war with cucumber beetles myself. I have a small garden (30x30). The cucumber beetles are crazy this year. I go out each evening and pick them off and squash them. It is kind of fun:) I also check the squash plants for squash bugs, but I haven't had so many of those this year. Probably because I only have 3 hills.

micheile, of the ones you listed I only have experience w/ EE's, they are wonderful, calm, friendly, inquisitive, pretty, even my Roo is friendly and good to his girls. They are laying through this heat and laid through the winter beautiful blue and green eggs.

Here are some pics of some of the girls and Oreo

Hey Monty,

If you aren't doing anything special on Saturday, July 9th at 11am there will be a public concert at OBU Raley Chapel. This will be what youth in Resonate have been working on during the week. It should be really good. I plan on bringing a group from our church.

Thanks, I'll see if I can make it!

What does it mean when a raccoon is out during the day? Just went out to bury some more bottles around my plants and there was a young raccoon in the forsythia hedge, hot and panting. My dog Sasha barked and alerted me to it, but guess she figured that was all she needed to do, b/c once I was alerted she left. I can't shoot it b/c I live in town and do not own a gun. We are going to get a live trap. My girls are put up at night, but I didn't think I had to worry about a raccoon attack in the daytime! The runs are not secure from a raccoon attack.
