City - The chocolates are bantams, but a little bigger than the US type bantams. The cockeral is about 5lbs and the females are about 3.5lbs. I do also have some BBS Orpingtons that are large fowl, but they are only a few months old.

ok you guinea folks- hubby found one of our guinea eggs up on the road about a week and a half ago, i put in on the window sill, so i am cleaning today, its been so hot, and i notice the egg and candle it just for fun, oh my gosh- its not clear any more, there is a dark shadow on the smaller side and what looks like an air sack on the small end- is it possible it may be developing?? or is it spoiling??

In these 100 degree temperatures, it may be incubating. I had some eggs from deep in the hen house litter and wasn't certain how fresh they might be. I was going to put them in the incubator, but forgot about the bucket of eggs for a few days and then decided to just feed them to the dog. Despite them being in the bucket in the barn for at least 3 days, there were live embryos in several eggs.

I would give it the "sniff test" if you think it might be spoiling.
