Well all my wife's trees she planted the last two years have died. Her garden is gone too. I also lost some shade grass I was cultivating in our front yard. I think even the Bermuda is almost all completely dead. I am going to have nothing but dirt in my yard. Well that and the sand burs seem to be doing well.
I hope my chickens and goat continue to tuff it out for however long it takes. I was especially worried about the Cochins but they seem to be OK so far. I created a chicken nipple waterer out of 4"PVC that holds an upside down 2 liter bottle. They seem to like the water cooled down.
I have been in SW Oklahoma since I got stationed here in 2001. They said we have been in a drought the whole time but this is the worst year so far. I wonder what a drought free Oklahoma looks like.
