***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I picked up a couple of barn kittens today. They are wild but that's a bonus because I want them to become mousers. Any thoughts about how much or how little to interact with them to keep them on the job in the barn but friendly enough for annual shots and worming? They're spending the evening in our basement, the quietest place we've got, and tomorrow I was planning to let them investigate the barn while I'm cleaning out there. Would it be wise to keep them in a large enclosure for a few days? I don't want them to bolt and become coyote dessert.

It may not make any sense but I'm enjoying this cold front we have today. Its nice for once to be able to collect eggs without them already being hard boiled.

I'm with him. Cats are my favorite. We have four, three in the house. DH said if it weren't for him I'd have 30 cats. My response was, "You think you are worth 30 cats!"
