We have had more bugs this year than usual...grasshoppers, cicadas, blisterbugs and click beetles.
The snakes have virtually disappeared because there is no ready supply of mice.
We have seen coyote cubs eatting out of the creep feeders and have had to ration the creep feed during the mornings so there is nothing left over.
A litter of cottontails raised in the garden but have since disappeared.
We have had more baby purple martins die during the fledging process than in years past.
We are keeping the bird baths filled for the wild birds and the American gold finch are feasting on the sun flowers already.
We aren't seeing the meadow larks as much either.
Macy caught a nice bass!
