What did it do to your house?

We saw lightening to the North of OKC as we were driving home from Cement, but we didn't get any rain or wind.

bumblefoot looks like a scab at the bottom of the foot, it is a staph infection and needs to be caught early- can you post pics of her foot? basically the foot gets an infection, the scab prevents medicine from getting in so it festers-

Hi Everybody!!!

Well I finally was able to get online. Got home over an hour ago and found my toilet was leaking. Identified and fixed the problem but not before I made the problem worse and half flooded the bathroom. The water intake pipe was crimped (have to change out that copper pipe soon) so it was an easy fix. Thank goodness!

Sold all the NN at the auction. Thanks to all our BYCers for buying them. I managed to bring home one pullet and a really cute bird cage, but still sold way more then I bought. That money will go to buying a new giant dog door for poor Harley. He is really getting too big to go through the cat door and it has started rubbing hair off him as he squeezes through the door.

It is late and I am really tired. I enjoyed spending time with everyone who made it and missed those who didn't. Blanchard is next weekend and I am planning on attending. May bring some of the EEs I have for sale with me.

Have a great night everyone!

Had a great day with son Ethan, Teach and last half of day his two sons. Thought about going to Newcastle sale, but had friends that needed to see at cement so ended up there. Good visit with my friends from Clinton and several BYCers. Will not have to chose between auctions for awhile now beings Cement is not going to be there anymore. I need to get up to Scoots auction anyway beings it is one I have not been to yet. Got 3 real nice big NN pullets and a couple more guineas. Teach got rid of some stuff and got some stuff also. After the clouds rolled in it was a good day. Heat was so bad before. Got home, got my new birds unloaded, now it is bed time.

Doesnt seem to have effected the house. The chicken coop is fine too (the roof is a little bent up on one side.)

I checked all the chickens and chicks and everyone seems fine.

The poor bunnies are in a big tub. We do colony anyway so they were all together. IT was funny, they have been together 2 months and none of the girld have gotten pg (too hot) and as soon as we brought them in, not 5 minutes later her was going from girl to girl (we have 3) trying to do his thing! lol

Who did you get the branbanters from? I have been looking at them and wishing I had a few:)

It was a guy in locaust grove. The are hatchery. He ordered a bunch from ideal and decided it was too many! He has 16 chicks left (of various breeds, not sure if he has any brabanters left) They are cuties though! I love the little do. I helpd one of them back to Tulsa and it just purred and cuddle the whole way! Love it, it has been named Fifi by one of the kids. Wasnt planning on keeping on actually, but we may have to now! We got nine chicks, we want 3 more chickens! SOOOOOOOO you know you have to get extras just in case!

Got the pictures from my iphone uploaded (sorry it is blurry)

This is the old coop that we changed to a rabbit colony. It was super heavy and hard to move (the roof is shingled, it is 4x8ft) The colored wood was a huge swingset that was ripped up and flat on the ground.

This was the area by the house. The coop is there in the background and just fine (even got an egg overnight lol). Someone didnt mind the crazy storm.

The swing set. It had two swing sides, a slide and monky bars!
