Well good morning all, I am at the library this morning, took me an hour to catch up on the forum and see what everyone is up to, Joe I am so sorry for you, I too went through divorce and had to liquidate all my chickens and animals at the time, it is very hard to do after working on projects for so long, I am cutting down on some breeds and and cutting back myself now, the feed cost is just too much for us right now, I am to the point I am going to take stuff to the sale and take a huge loss on them just to quit feeding them, If anyone is interested in some really nice grown guineas(they are from Betsys bloodlines"nice birds") I really need to let mine all go, I have a few older hens of different breeds and way too many roosters and stags to feed, I still am getting great egg production from my hens and I need to keep my egg layers for my egg buying customers, even though my egg sales are not paying the feed bill it does suppliment my hobby!!! The rain was so welcome here, now maybe I can get a disc in the ground to cut up my wheat patch and overseed it with pumpkins and hopefully the wheat will reseed for graze for the horses this winter. This heat has really taken a toll on me this summer with my heat exaustion attack a couple summers ago I just can not take the heat. It looks like my job with Mercruiser will possibly last till mid Dec. so have been putting out feelers for jobs in my area, I know something will come along and trust that God will provide. Just wanted to drop in an say hi, and hope everyone has a blessed day!!! Lynn

Hope Betsy sees this, she lost several recently. Not sure if she would want grown ones or not. If you had coral blues I would be interested, but it is quite a drive. We will be in okc the next 2 weekends, but don't think it would be a good time to pick up birds since we are going to concerts at frontier city
Yes I would love for Betsy to have some or all of them back, I love them but just have too much to take care of and the expence is killing me, I have some Blues but not sure on what color is what. Have hatched some from mine so they are fertile though!!! If anyone needs to contact me it is easier for me if you send me an email to [email protected] or PM me as I only get to the library onece or twice a week. Thanks, Lynn

Lynn are you going to take them to Guy Rose, or Blanchard? Good luck hope they do well for you. The guineas I have seen at the last few sales have did fair.
