Hi all, being lazy this morning. slept late, got home from blanchard and put stuff up, got to be at 4 this morning. Got up this morning just a bit ago and checked blood sugar. A low 230 so I will just take it easy today probable. Had a good time last night. Got to see some folks and visit. Brought home 4 more big NN hens. 3 Asil stags, 12 dozen eggs to boil to feed to the young birds in the brooder house. Good cheap form of protien. And stopped on the way home and picked up another pair of ko shamo. All and all a good night.
DoubleOstud- I cant hardly tyupe on this key board. It would take me all day to type what I put in this post if I did it on the phone

I've been throwing them in the blender (shells and all for the adults) and popping them in the microwave for a couple of minutes per batch, that way it doesn't heat the house up.​

Amy FF poops is an annual meeting of bycer's and their families, a one day event held in the spring and a poops shirt is the t-shirt that is made up for the event (changes each year).

NE Oklahoma Poultry Shows, Bantam All Game Show is set for Nov. 12th at the Mayes County fairgrounds in Pryor , Ok. this will be for American Game , Modern Game , Old English Game And AOCCL Birds, Tight Feather type , cornish, shamos, aseels, and such. Whent to Marry's swap meet sat done fair seen lot's of Bycer's ...Some that hadnt posted in a long time// Thin left an went to Blanchard sale .
Should have just went on home an put my stuff up ..It was after 12 wen i got home from the sale then got back up at 5 an started unloading every thing man im wer out..

I know you need bantam Wyandotte and bantam Cochin Hens.. they're small, don't each much, lay nice size eggs and are real quite and cute to look at.
Keep in mind each one only counts as 1/4 a chciken though

I got a red Cochin bantam from Firefly yesterday and I'm in love with her. MJ-she's real laid back, gentle and sweet-is this typical for Cochin bantams? I've only got my 1 month old standard chicks to compare to (who act like this, too). If this is typical of Cochin bantams me and you need need to talk about where I can get some more! I love this girl! I want my chickens for pets and this personality is perfect for that.
Didn't you all say chicken math was different for bantams? I'm thinking they should only count as 1/4 of a chicken.

Thats it, we need to have an election now. Or an extension of the title and position, I will serve as a Vice Chair to the enabling commitee, so long as P&B is teh chair person.

That settles it. If the folks who give children more and more birds, so that they can have good quality birds to show for 4-H are in the competition, I will cheerfully bow and hand over the title.
