***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I got home this evening and did choirs. I throwed the chickens some sliced oranges before I left this morning. I guess this little cornish hen decided she needed a little bling bling.

old*cowboy :

Been gone most of the day. One of those days that cause mixed emotions. Our son moved into the dorms in Norman today at OU. So very proud of him. He has 3 older sisters in their 30's and then him. So he has been raised like an only child most of his life. Graduated top of his class, 4.0 all the way thru. Devote Christian, youth leadership in his church. So many many things to be proud of. The mixed emotion comes though as I will be so very sad he is not home anymore. I know it is his time to go forth, but I am a little greedy and cant help but think of all the things I will have to do myself or not do, because he will not be here to share these things with. I am going to stop as I am in tears already just typing this far. Here is a picture of me and him with a few old timers at Louisville KY National young bird show. He and I made that trip many time thru the years as well as many other show across the US. I love my son and already miss him.

You will always have the memories to share together when you and your son get together. It can be hard to adjust to the kids moving on without us, but we've all been there. Remember when you left your parents house? He's probably going to have the time of his life while in college, as well as make you proud of his accomplishments there too. You'll miss him but you'll do fine.

Ok all. I have a question. I have an older hen that cannot use her left leg.....she has been like this for days......she seems fine in every other way, eating ,drinking, but won't move unless made to...there is NO sign of any injury or infection......have looked her over again and again and nothing.....what could it be?

You are Blessed and so is your son!
I heard about the life of one of my students today; shas been acting out - Dad, whom she hasn't seen since age three, died in prison this week and Mom is getting out of prison this week. Her Foster care home isn't an ideal place either.
So glad to hear your very different story!

Oxine for a dip 1/2 oz per gallon works very well, for spray 1 oz per gallon.
Tylan is measured more by the weight of the animal, my big birds for example I will do 1/2 CC 2x daily for 3 days for smaller birds 1/4 cc 2 x daily for 3 days,
