***OKIES in the BYC III ***

A friend called today to say that a turkey appeared on her grandma's property near Westminster & Reno (Midwest City, OK.) Is anyone here missing one? She'll try to get a photo of it tomorrow, then I"ll post it here. The grandma isn't allowed to have turkeys where she lives and would like for the owner to get it, or for someone else to take it. Let me know if anyone is interested, or if you think it might be your turkey.

Edited to say that it doesn't appear to be a wild turkey, as it seems rather used to people. BTW, they don't know if it's a male or female.

I'll post a pic when she sends it to me tomorrow.

my bro called me, he was on his way back from nw Ark. he stopped at a swap meet near West Siloam Springs and bought a partridge bantam cochin. Anyone know of this swap meet, he didn't remember the name. I guess me giving him that cochin pair put the chicken bug back in him and my SIL. I'm an enabler

Good job on the enabling part!

Now, chickens are like potato chips - you can't have just one, so you may have to help him find some buddies for the cochin he got at the swap.
