Hi Tim,

Get in touch with Joe, AKA banjoejoe4783. I got an amazing pure Coronation cockerel as well as some lights and some splits from Joe. They are really big birds, well colored, and they are some of my favorites.

Jeannie - I hope you find a good home for your horses soon. I asked my husband tonight when he got back form his weekend conference. My heart wants them, but my head agrees with his logic. I'm not organized enough yet with my birds and goats to take on more animals. We do have a neighbor who keeps horses. I will ask him tomorrow if he is in the market for any new stock. He has cattle on the pasture just north of our place. I've seen horses there too, from time to time. He's retired Navy, a great guy, and if he's not looking for horses, he might know someone who is.

Evening all! Beautiful horses BarnS. Its so bad that such nice animals are down to costing so little and even that is hard to get! I am sure there are lots more in Okla and Texas this year haveing to do the same. It must be heaven for horse lovers qith money to spend and hay to feed!
Spent the day with MIL and then wife went car shopping. She found what she wants but it may be a while before our luck changes enough so she can get it!
Came home and did outside chores .Watered evrything and then left it running in the fish (talking little koi) pondfor a few minutes, which turned out to be three hours sfter I forgot it! Hope all the guppys didn't was out but I bet they did. I guess I was just too tired from not much sleep at the sleep study last night!Either that or hanging around the nursing home all day caught up with me!lol

Sooner yes I am planning on keeping the phoniex and will gladly share with you next spring. They appear about two-three years old. They are nice quality, not for sure why I didn't take pics but I will.

Neighbor gave me a bunch of lumber from where he tore his pool deck down so I am going to clean it up and do some pen building. Going to try and do the Jarvis A frames

Ben catching some of the 9-11 shows on today. Still lots of memories! Lots of new tears, wife has cried everytime she sits in front of the tv. Glad no new things happened today!

I had three new g.piggys born today,on 9-11,guess I will have to keep them just because!

Tried to go to bed early, but dogs were going wild. Coyotes were howling all around. I could hear one of the neighbors attempting to shoot at them. Never a dull moment around here.

Kids talked all day about the Blanchard auction. Think I heard jared's name a dozen times. The girls had a good time hanging out with him, even though they would never admit it. This was the first auction dh ever sat through. He normally would stop in & check on us when we were @ the cement auction, but he never stayed before.

Michael-- that peafowl egg my DD collected from your pen appears to be fertile. Hope it keeps developing.

Our chicken eggs that were 3 days late had 4 eggs that didn't pip. 1 died after pip & 14 hatched (lost 1 so far). Usually I move my eggs up each wk in my cabinet incubator. This was the first batch that had stayed on the bottom row until lockdown. I normally would have tossed the eggs by day 23, but I held onto them since not a single egg had hatched & when I candled them I could tell they were good. I need to experiment with the temp on the cabinet incubator some more. See what I can do to improve airflow in hopes of a more stable temp throughout.

took some pics today of a few of my birds but before I could post them I got a call from Okracefan, his new water pump was not working at his new place when he got back from Ark. We got it working again then went to their other house and while there his chickens were attacked by a young cat. no serious injurys but the one hen he has left from his original flock has some missing skin on her back, what is good for treatment for it, I already told him neosporin but wondering what else will help her.

On a better note the pics

My Lt Brahma Roo's The left one is around 9-10 months, the one on the right is 18 months
