Another thing to try is a poultice of Sugar and Iodine, if there is infection it will draw it out. Just make a paste and then wrap the foot after applying and change daily.
Bumblefoot can appear any place on the feet and since it is a Staph infection and the feet have diminished blood circulation it can be a lengthy process to treat.
Car wash didn't happen today, they scheduled us for next weekend on the books. Good thing we had the email confirmation for this weekend to cover our butts. Anyway, because of that, the place is going to advertise the car/bike wash on their facebook page, at the bike night on Thursday nights at Hooters plus the dealership bike night on Friday. Hopefully that means we'll make money next Saturday!
Definitely gotta arrange to get my chickens from Michael before then... LOL
I'm supposed to be working on a 10 page research paper for my transportation management class that is due tomorrow evening. 5 sources, all kinds of requirements for content. So why am I looking at pictures of chickens?!?
After some major back surgery this spring I am doing good. Birds are all fine and most made it through the heat ok. I'm sitting here listening to the hens fighting over prime roosting area. I mean come on, it's just a limb!

thanks Les, i was hoping it wasn't bumble, but i guess any infection is dangerous, i did manage to clean out my roos foot, that wasn't a fun experience, especially if you do it without assistance, dave isn't good with blood...
but ya gotta do what ya got to for these guys, right? on this girl, if it doesn't have a scab, the iodine and sugar?
