***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Well the rain waited until after my outdoor course so I was pleased with that. Making arrangements to buy some things that I "need" (i.e. "want"). The cats are acting like crazy things, the dogs were too slow-brained to get out of the rain and therefore are soaked, and James is complaining about a sore throat.

I just wanna relaaaaxxxxxx.

Okla Doodle - the quilt is fantastic. It was a great idea to put those special towels into a quilt. They are more likely to be enjoyed by multiple generations that way,

Faerie - are you going to order the things you want - or try and find them locally? You might try to get James to drink some hot tea with honey, for his sore throat.

It was a pleasure to put on my Muck boots this evening so that my feet stayed dry. Yeah rain!

How did your day go? Your "outside" adventure?

Threw a few hundred rounds downrange at an outdoor range for a firearms course, so other than the fact that it takes forever to get the smell of gun oil out from underneath my fingernails, it went well.

I ordered what I wanted online... from local Oklahoma companies/people. So the best of both worlds

He's been drinking some tea and honey. What is it with some men?

They whine, but then they complain when you tell 'em what they need to do.

I finally told him he lost the right to complain if he didn't do what I said. So, now he's drinking the tea and whining.

Shooting guns are cool! In fact, we have a 50 meter range in my front yard..not kidding! Did you do a CCW course? DW and I have decided to get ours and are scheduled the 23rd. Any time you can go out and put rounds down range it is a good day! Gun oil isn't bad, it could be chicken poop

Yeah, I took a ccp refresher because I had taken the original course in 2009, my house was burglarized a month later and I lost both my handguns. Never pursued the license further because I figured what was the point with nothing to carry? Now with James possibly being deployed to Afghanistan (there's a 50/50 chance he'll be voluntold), it's simply smarter for me to get my own and he's going to purchase a handgun for me (we have his handguns, but they are too heavy and the grips are too big for me).

I really MUCH PREFER gun oil to chicken poop.

What on earth are you going to do with 100 Coturnix bumble bees running around?

We are going to "refresh" our breeding stock...sell off ones we think other folks would be interested in, and see how the rest will fit in the oven

I did get ahead of myself in chicken math though...we only have 24 in the 'bator...not 48, lol. So far, now we have 12 fuzzy bums running around, with serveral more of the eggs pipped.
