This is just one of the hen's i bot at the last auction for a buck each poor thing's wer featherless ..That's why i feed thim meat her feather's are all ready coming in
An this coming sat will be two week's..I read the post from Ksane an other's an a good pellet or crumble'is great ..But i buy an sale alot of bird's so if they are in bad
shape it give's thim a boost,,,An is good for show bird's feather's to make thim strong wer they wont brake..An the tail feather's longer an wider..
NN is any of thim bird's you have for sale ....

I do feed meat scraps from the table. I just don't go out of my way to find feed with animal protein in it because I do feed them leftover meat from the table. Except I admit, I'm squeamish and won't feed cooked chicken to my chickens.

Except for tomatoes this is my best garden year in a very long time. I used to half heartedly attempt a garden, then stopped for several years while I was changing careers and going to school. Last year I did a ton of research and this year implemented it. It was the major reason for getting the chickens, the method I use involves the chickens in the garden. I have identified several "tweeks" I plan on implementing next year. But over all I am very happy w/ it this year, and proud I got it through the horrible drought still alive and bearing.
