I love EE'a muffs! I've got 2 about 6mo that at 1st got picked on really bad by the 2 Cochin bantams, I thought I was going to have to find someone else to take them but they all worked it out. I really like these 2 I have. The 1 who started laying is rust & gray colored-so cool. Her eggs aren't blue or green though, they're cream colored.
Do yours lay blue or green eggs? Maybe she's a Faverolle mix instead of an EE lol
I like them so well I'm thinking maybe in the spring I should have an EE pen.........

well, the ee i lost last spring at beginning of the predator attacks laid pinkish brown, muffy and lacy lay greenesh blue, the others haven't started yet- they are really a fav of mine, amazing really0 half my flock is ee's

Good morning folks .. Looks like its going to be a nice day.. I lost a roo yesterday i had let them all out to free range a while and he somehow got in the horse trough and couldnt get out and drown.. and of course he was one of my fav roos too..

I picked 3 cucumbers out of the garden today!!! And my hot pepper plants when we had that freeze warning a week or so ago I picked every pepper off, well now they are covered in blooms again!!! I am still harvesting 1.5 walmart sacks full of okra a couple of times a week. (at least it's not a 5 gallon bucket a couple of times a week anymore

Yep, they've got bantam Faverolles also. For some reason the bantams nor the LF's are easy to find. But there'll quite possibly be some at that Dec show in Shawnee. Jackie/Firefly is getting some Faverolles bantams to breed I think.

i am thinking i better bring cages if i go to shawnee???

if i can't get my seramas by then, i'll need to get them from June then....i hate waiting that long!

sounds like turkeys will go on the back burner for a bit- if they do tend to get aggressive....

my aim is the more docile critters...

I have a load of Bantam Faverolle eggs cook'in in the Sportsman. She sent me Salmon Black, Blue, and Splash. I got them from buffbeauty. She is hoping to come to the Shawnee show.
