Great husband you've got there!

Just got caught up on the posts. Sure a chatty group the last couple of days. I have been working on the road.

I have a need, rather my sister has a need. She lives in Joshuah, Texas (SW of Ft. Worth) and is needing some hay. She is raising mini goats so nothing coastal. They are willing to drive up to Oklahoma to pick it up if anyone knows of any. I am not sure how much she is needing but I can find out if there is any out there. She said she did find some .....in Alabama

Thanks guy, just have to check the price on it. Be a good additive for my feed, to up the protein. Better than dog food

Been viewing the walmart blackfriday ad making my wishlist. Nothing big, nothing I can't live without. Just a few small things that are a good buy. I usually do all my blackfriday shopping online, but Walmart seems to have 3 different sale times this year. They want you to keep coming back for more I guess.

The best part about Walmart releasing their BF ad is the price wars have now begun! I was able to order a new Garmin tonight. My 4 yr old Garmin bit the dust, the screen was starting to be tempermental, then last week it just DIED! So I found a few models better than the garmin I picked out @ bestbuy for half the price @ cruthfield. I can't remember life before a GPS, it is a HUGE part of my life now!

Went to a Hoophouse workshop @ osu today, lots of good info. Buster & his wife were there, also. I didn't stick around for building the hoophouse, I mainly went to hear what others were doing & growing well within Oklahoma.

I am excited for the warm weekend ahead. I plan on letting the goats go out in the yard to play for a while. Keep thinking I want to go to the Blanchard sale, but will see how much cooking I get done for DH Change of Command. Yesterday when I bought all the groceries I knew it was bad when an old man stopped me & said I should look around for a youngin to push my over flowing cart. Sad part is he didn't know I already bought double that when I was at samsclub!

Hate to hear of all the sick birds. I will say since I haven't bought any new birds in a few months I haven't had any illness, except my crooked neck pullet that I ended up culling. She had dropped alot of weight & never showed much improvement.

Give me just a little bit, I assume bantams right?

Yep! Even if we don't end up with silkies, we WILL be ending up with bantam wyandottes. They may not be dun laced, but the kiddo likes BLR and the SL/GL.

Don't forget to make one for the EE bantams, You Know You Want Them!lol

I made mine out of material I had own hand and they ended up being 7 1/2 ft long and are great for a half a dozen bantams. I have three ready now to put the wire on!

We just got back from the nursing home. They had a chilli cookoff. We threw a pot together using our Williams Chilli mix that we get in Okla.(can't find it here) We were the last entry, number 13! And we won first place! Prize was $300! Of course I had to cook it but she took the credit and bought me a can of pop for my efforts!

You enabler you... I remember how I almost got some other birds a few years ago because of you (I shoulda, they were pretty!). I promised my daughter Wyandotte bantams. We'll make due with color choices available... but man, bantam EEs would be cool too. Too many cute birds.

Need to go bathe the silkie chick.
