***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Quote:
They're making nests all over in the straw, they love that stuff.

who needs incubators with these girls- flo started laying, within a month went broody- she has raised the nn, the guineas(who depoofed her) and bought her some silky eggs this time, looks like possibly three of those will hatch, have some i am unsure and some that look like the air sac is wobbling??? you turn it and it slides around- 8 silkie eggs were almost too many, she couldn't cover them all, so when mj's cochin Cindylou went broody i gave her a couple

Got bored this afternoon, so took a few pics.

BFrancis, you have a whole yard full of beards just like Kass, you guys are so lucky! I want some so bad. But with quarantining and the holidays it's just going to be slow going.
Your birds are beautiful and I love all the beards

Thanks Ksane! We have eggs if you want to raise your own, or 4 chicks now...this spring we'll have more bearded wonders than we'll know what to do with...Holler when ever you're ready for some.

I felt like I got hit by a train when I lost the 4 to e. coli this summer. I don't do very well with losing them. As much as I hate to I have to stick with chickens over 5-6 months. If you come across some girls that you decide not to keep for one reason or another I want to buy them though. If I can find Ameraucanas over EE's that's my preference unless I already know the EE lays green or blue eggs & not white.
Yours are so very pretty, I'd love to have a group like that. I'm so Beard-Lonesome with only 5 bearded girls. Sigh.

Good evening. I've got Lauren ready for her big debut. Her Christmas program is tonight and she has her first speaking part. She is super excited. One would think that she says more than two words. It's gonna be fun for her. I've got the video camera charging.

I've still got my Silver Duckwing OEGB for sale. There are 12-15 of them. I am asking $10 each or $100 for all of them. I've also got some dwarf hamsters if anyone needs one or two or ten of them. We figured out the hard way that Lauren has a male and female hamster. we went from 2 to 12 in no time at all.

Well I guess I better get dressed so we can get to the school in time to get some good seats. Y'all have a great evening.

Hey, everyone! I have a beautiful Blue Andalusian Rooster, about 4 months old, that I would like to re-home. I live in NE Oklahoma, between Claremore and Pryor. I got some "straight run" chicks this fall at Atwoods, and it is looking like they might be ALL boys. His name is "Blue" and he is starting to give my boy the stink-eye, but he is really good to his girls. Message me, if you're interested.

Nice birds bfrancis, lynninOK, ksane & artsyrobin!

Since it's picture night, here are the newest additions to my flock as of today, courtesy of smfamf. I went to get a few of her Seramas but wound up with all of them. They're in a sectioned off part of the garage for now, in quarantine. They need more hay in there, so I'll get that for them this week. There are 3 roos and 12 hens altogether - some smooth feathered, some silkied. They're bigger than ones I already had, but no less cute!

Robin - I believe a couple of these girls have your name on them.
