Michael - Sounds like you were running in four directions at once. Sorry for your losses. A strong family makes times like these bearable.

That Stimpy White Rock Rooster is gorgeous. I've got two cockerels, and if I put them together they wouldn't be half the bird that's in your photo.

Stimpy - Are you still raising White Rocks? If you are, sign me up for a dozen eggs in January or February.

Friday is hatch day for the silkie babies- what do non-growing eggs look like, i have a couple that only show a shadow and a few others that the air sac floats all over.....? and is it safe to candle this close to hatching? hatchday is friday
 
I know you folks in Western OK need the rain. I personally am sick of it. I hate feeding in this stuff. gotta put on the muck boots!
 
Morning everybody! Funny things going on this morning. My Old English hen is trying to crow. My serama and her are having a cometition. So far he's winning hands down.
