hi folks, was just reading a thread on kestrels, and how they won't tolerate hawks in their territory, but are too small to go after chickens- do we have them here in oklahoma...

Okla, Guinea pig babies are the cutest thing!!
Went to my mom's, which always stresses me out. My husband got me this gun for Christmas (wouldn't let me take it to my mom's though-ha!). I remember seeing a picture of it in a magazine last summer and saying how cool it was. It's really pretty. Now to get good at shooting it.
I also got the 2 Russian Orloff pullets (7 mo old) on Craiglist, beautiful birds that I'm thrilled to have. I've admired them for a long time and these seemed to fall in my lap. I'll get pictures tomorrow. She said they were mahogany but they're spangled.

Got back a little bit ago from being gone all weekend. Had a good time. Went up into the panhandle to see daughter and her family. My son Ethan and I got to spend a couple hours with Teach. Had a great visit. Him and the daughter and family are about the only two things I can say I miss about the panhandle. We get up there and there is snow everywhere, it is 10 to 20 degress cooler than Arapaho. How can they live like that.

Anyway had fun with teach and his boys. Looked at some good birds. Brought home a few nice birds, so it was like Christmas. Oh wait it was Christmas. That must explain why I ate way to much this weekend.
