Hello late evening folks! Still up because wife is watching a movie,Money Ball! I quilted or a while,caught up on the post,I was behind 75!
Went to the Elkton Ky. Sale today. It was a great sale! One of the biggest crowds they have ever had. Looks like the backyard chicken industry is growing! And looks like spring prices are already starting to kick in!
I brought home a pair of nice aracunas.they are the true kind,the hen has ear tiffs instead of ear muffs and is rumpless. Also got a nice black and white harlequin buck rabbit and three pairs of pigeons. My auction buddy got a nice lion head buck,lion heads apparently are going to be the rabbit on top again this year. Had my eye on a nice little double maned doe,she went for $22! Not bad for a breeders price but high for auction price! I didn't get her!
Looks like everyone has had a great day. It was beautiful here,sunshine and warm. Really makes me worried because it's so not like Jan!
Well I'm shutting down for the night ,catch you all tomorrow!

Evenin' peeps, how are ya? I haven't been on in quite a while...got caught up with the insanity of life....anyway, I decided to log in tonight and see what's happenin'. Boy was I surprised when I saw the new layout! So how is everyone? I got a new grandaughter on Monday and she is the cutest little baby! We currently have five bantem chicks that the girls are enjoying watching as they grow and feather out. I better go for now, it's getting late and we are going to church in the morning....goodnight folks!

Hi Carla!!!! We are all missing you and Gerald. Hope you get some time to come to one of the auctions.

Got back from Blanchard. Did not buy a thing but Mike is hooking me up, so even if I got out of there without buying any chickens, I am going to get chickens anyway. Whoot! Whoot! Spent the evening with a bunch of BYCers. It was lovely hanging out talking chickens.

Well I am going to get into the shower and head to bed. I hear my pillows calling my names.

Very pretty birds. I Iove Blues and fluffy cushions! Are these a different blue than the Andalucian blue? Do they breed true or do they produce black and Splash too?
