***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Mjgigax I really like your roo. The one I have of that color is too tall looking,he is young so I don't know if he will eventually grow into the squatty fluffy butt type or not. The golden laced roo I have is the same way. I pro ably need to keep an eye out for better bred Roos!
Evening Mr. Elwood, how are you doing today?

Good evening all!

Was wondering if anyone has any naked neck chicks for sale. I have 4 in my flock right now. They are the best layers that I have. I got those at Atwoods last year, but would prefer to buy from an individual instead. My husband all but cussed the poor birds ugliness when I got them but has since come to love them and even talks to them when he goes in the pen.

Thanks,

I read this to my hubby. He keeps saying he doesn't want NN's. He thinks they're ugly. I will have some sooner or later. I bet he will love them too.

He'll love them! Along with being my best layers, they also have great personalities. Zoe is the first to greet me. She follows me around like a puppy talking and purring to me the whole time I'm there.

His "Dad" is even shorter, like a feathered tank. My Buffs are the smallest of all my varieties. I think our foundation roo and hen were runts. I got both at auctions, feeling sorry for them, looking so tiny in a cage. We love them. The roo we call Moonpie and he thinks he is head roo; crows first every morning.
They definately fillout after their first big molt.

I know, I raised one but gave her away. Now I'm thinking I need 1 to keep my 1 LF Cochin girl company around all my bantams. NN have alot of nice qualities; heathy, consistent layers. Seems that everyone that gets them become big fans.

You have a good trip and do what you need to, they will be here when you able to pick them up.. Enjoy your time.. What part of Florida? I used to spend a fair amount of time in Westin, by Ft. Lauderdale and have family in Tampa.
Lutz...near Tampa.

Ideal's for plant markers??????? I ran out on my seeds last night & won't have time for the store.

cut venetian blinds strips or cut strips from cottage cheese cartons and write on them with a magic marker.
