***OKIES in the BYC III ***

If you have only purchased from hatcheries does that mean the birds are npip tested at the hatchery? I understand the testing means your birds are clean from one disease. Once your birds have been tested does that mean you are npip clean forever? (If you don't purchase any birds just raise your own hatches?) Do you have to be npip tested to sell chicks, chickens, or hatching eggs?

Dutch you need to contact the state & have one of those tester come because it will only cost you 5.00 to be certified for one year, when you are due again they will contact you to re-new. I have heard rumors that they are considering ending this program where it only cost 5.00 so I would get it done.

Poultryandbee's will have the number but in the mean time I will see if I can find it too.

I-40 to Harrah Newalla Rd exit, turn north go about 12-14 miles park is on east side.

The place where will POOPS will be held is at the Choctaw Creek Park in Choctaw. It is on Harper about a half mile South of NE 23rd street.
If you are coming via I-40 exit at Choctaw Road and go North six miles to NE 10th and turn left (West) go about a half mile to stop sign and
turn right on Harper.
There is a big Church on the NE corner of that intersection. Go a half mile North and you will see the park entrance.

Hot pads or chicken saddles would be great for me.
Bonnets would be a maybe, I only have one niece...
