I take back what I said about my dogs not being good guard dogs

One of them just tried to bite the heat and air guy! Pinched the skin and tore his jeans..... I guess I do have guard dogs after all......

Hey, Christina, did you ever hear back about the Porter Hill auction?

And can someone give me directions to Newcastle auction? We have never been and would like to try it.
Yep-- they are going to try & do the auction 3rd sat of the month. First auction so they dnk what to expect. Start taking stuff @ 4. Auction starts @6. Ran by Schmidt auction in Lawton 11920 HWY 62 in Elgin--- we are taking a dz or so RIR chicks. DD wants to keep all the EE she hatched this wk. The Newcastle sale is easy to find, but I will let someone else give directions.

Does anybody have directions to the Elgin auction?

There is two ways to go to newcastle auction. You can take I-44 to the Newcastle exit. Go pass the casino. You will be on Hwy 62 West. Going toward Blanchard. Go pass the Sonic. On the left will be a park then on top of the hill will be the fairgrounds that is where auction is held.

Or you can go thru Blanchard on Hwy East to Newcastle. Then on the right you will see the fairgrounds. If you you go past park you missed it.

This is where Blanchard orginally started.

The Elgin auction is actually at Porter Hill. Coming from Lawton it should be on left side of road before you turn toward Elgin or Lake Ellsworth.

The last Blanchard Auction started selling eggs at 5:38pm over 600 dozen then followed by 1300 baby chicks then cages supplies then birds then cages supplies then birds. Lets get facts straight. Oh lets not forget bunnies, rabbits, and other small animals.

I have two broody hens they took to the nest 4 days ago and every day they leave the nest that has eggs in it and move to one that only has fake eggs and one or two real ones, The eggs they had been on yesterday are now cold or air temp so I took them and put them in the incubator, Any ideas on weather they will be alright to hatch? They have been abandoned at least part of the day every day for the last couple days...
