***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Bill see you already talked yourself into the sale tonight. Glad to hear you are coming!

Those asking about Lily, heard she is home & doing well!!!

See y'all soon -- we are brining oldest DD Indian blue peafowl pair tonight. There pen is going to become my new duck pen I think. I am ordering some silver appleyards! DD wanted to get rid of them long ago but I was trying to make her continue to care for them. She has had them a yr, and that has been a long enough fight for me! She wi still be responsible for the goats & they require MUCH more work than a single pr of peafowl. Going out now to catch the peafowl. Wish me luck!!!!

Modernman~ Hows Jamie and the new baby? We'll be down this afternoon to see you'al

Elwood Lightfoot~ If you still have any of those caster bean seeds left, I would be interested in a few

Baby got to come home on tuesday and is doing great and so is mommy. we look forward to seeing you all up there

Have a couple chick pics to share:
New Coturnix quail hatch, 60 of 'em! My phone's camera doesn't do them justice, there are English Whites, Scarlets, Manchurians, Tuxedos, and Tibetans in this batch.
Chinese Blue Breasted Quail, CBBQ (Button quail) those tiny dudes are quick and won't hold still for the camera!
Size comparison, both hatched yesterday, the "big yellow chick" is an English White coturnix

Going to be bringing Coturnix and Button quail hatching eggs with me to New Castle tonight, hope to see you all there!
Don't those wood pellets smell wonderful in a brooder?? I'll have to get some more of those.

Good morning everyone. I won the cutest chick picture for the Easter hatch a long. Thanks a lot to those of you who voted for my picture.

Newcastle will start 5 pm.we tryed to call everyone to let them know but some number were wrong.so please help me by letting youre friends know hope to see everybody their.going to be a nice day for a auction.
If there's any standard Cochin hens I'm afraid I may not be able to resist. Against better judgement and all the stern talks with myself about not bringing adults in I still found myself thinking, "I hope there's some big Cochin girls there tonight....."

noticed one of the chicks has a crossbeak, mama won't let me close enough to look- so i may have some specialty issues? no breeding her?
One of the Favs? Or the Cochin bantams?
Just reach under her and grab the baby. Tell her she's not the boss of you lol

Modernman, it is just so right that mommy and baby are home together! Congratulations on new addition!

AHhhh! the wonders of privacy fencing! Yes, we do have some birds again. The City or nosy neighbors will have to trespass to see our little juvie birds now.
