No way I can catch up on 150+ posts. DH's uncle died, as did an aunt in another state two nights before that. Not this family's week. Mowed all day saturday, still more to do, gotta find a working weedeater tho. Guess we'll have to go out and buy a new one. Hate buying new things..... they just break and you kick yourself for getting them!

Mitzi, wanna swap guineas at POOPS? I have the male that keeps getting beat up in a coop now.
Here is what hubby is doing today!!! He has killed 7 in 30 mins! I told him he is on official snake duty today! We didn't find that many all of last summer but he mowed yesterday and got them all stired up.

Snakes are the one and only animal that gives me the eebie jeebies. I had to choke back a scream just looking at the picture.
I'll try to catch her. I had ahold of her awhile back but it was a stroke of luck that I caught her. I'll do my best and let you know by Friday.

Hey Welcome!

Found a flaw with the new female dog. When the roosters attempt to mate with the hens she runs over to rescue the hens in distress!

Every hen should be so lucky!

My favorite little hatchery Silkie is Stanley, he's just a darling. Sits on my lap and rubs his face on me, he practically purrs. Stanley's been living with "Babboo" (his brother). So I got busy and got a 10x10 pen done for Stanely and he'll get to live with 3 girls. Babboo will get a pen next to it with 2 girls. Their pickets are only 4', Silkies are so easy to contain compared to other birds. I have just the other Silkie pen and I'll have them all done. Then 2 separate chain link yards and I'll be done with the building part. It feels like I've been building pens forever.
OceansEve, sorry about your Uncle In Law. He went so fast, you just told us about him last week, didn't you? Did he realize he was going to go so fast?

OMG I can understand city folk being hesitant to feed and water a herd of goats, or a feedlot full of heifers, but to KICK CHICKENS??? NOOOOO!!!!!

Today's only snake. Inside a gqf brooder that had chicks in it in the barn. I had just walked up to the house & DD was finishing up with the chicks. Thankfully no chicks lost. Guessing he just got in there.
