***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Joe has some gorgeous birds, I have a trio of his Brown Leghorns I am very proud of!!! Hope to see you at the NEOCS Joe!!!! Lynn

I admire someone who doesn't make a public display when they do something for someone. The people who make public displays have their own agenda and in reality are "helping" someone else only for their own gain. I've heard from other people privately about nice things Joe's done & help he's given.
Besides-he does have some really awesome birds

Ksane,

It's his Cochin colors and Araucana I'm drooling over.
I've seen so many people with Leghorns and how happy they are with them. I've never got around to researching them, what makes them special?

I don't really know of a specific reason I like Leghorn, maybe it started as a kid and eating Post Toasties!! But I have Leghorns in White and Brown, I would love to add Red, Buff, Black, and Exchequer also, I like the large white eggs they lay and a lot of them, I like the proud stance and long flowing tail of the roosters also. Hello all! We survived the storms some coop damge but nothing to major. I am looking for a good lead on a young pair mateing pair of geese, for guard duty and I would just love them! Not picky on type just a healthy known pair - let me know!

Well lookit what I found.

She's sister to this one, and she's been in the nest box all day long. :)

Luckily I just moved mama and babies into the empty space in the big brooder, so I have an empty broody box! SWEET! This is what I hoped would happen when I got broody bantam hens!

Mom is still in recovery, surgery was at 7 this morning. Just waiting to see her settled in the ICU before I go home for the evening. When I left we had 4 guineas out and hubby said two more were out when he checked at 10 this morning with more working on it. I hate when I cant be at home to take care of the birds.

I love the guinea pics, their pen looks perfect for them!

Hope she's doing okay. Know what you mean about wanting to be there for the hatch.
