***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Well I think I am caught up on the board, lol. Sorry to see all the losses. I forgot to put up Nathanaels Mr. Red last night and I was so glad he was out there free ranging this morning when I went to feed. Wasn't sure how I would tell him something happened to Mr. Red. Took the day off today so my week is all out of wack. But got birds moved around here and then went to help hubby inventory all the fireworks and get them on the shelves. Still have a little pricing to do tomorrow morning when we open officially but that is okay the first day is never real busy. All you that take 66 to the get together stop in for something to drink and visit with us. It gets pretty boring sitting out there. Although hubby has all that free time to think of way to build new pens for the birds, lol.


Also I have guinea eggs for anyone that wants some. I have been giving them to OkieT's neighbor and will have plenty more to give her next week so I have over 5 dozen from this last week LOL I can take them to the fireworks stand and someone can pick them up there or I can meet someone in Welston at the turnpike if that helps. I just don't want them to go to waste, I just can't put anything in the incubator for a few weeks. Oh and I may be at the Harrah auction tomorrow night I have a few birds I want to thin out of the coops, so could meet someone there.

what are ya'll doin with all the kids? surely your not leaving them with the trainers are you?

i always give them chocolate and redbull before they go home, helps with the babysitting chores!

Mine are staying home with daddy and going to Grandmas when daddy is ready to paint the smoker.

UPS leaves alot to be desired! we have complained- got the supervisor, told him if fedex can get down here, why can't they... so he rode with the driver and agreed... sheesh

I have been dying to have some guineas but do not have an incubator at this time. UGH!

You could always find someone to hatch them for you, lol. If my big incubator had auto turners I would set them myself. Hmmm I do have a Cukoo Marans hen going broody bet I could give her a few I already gave her 7 bantam cochin eggs so not sure how many more eggs she can take. But I know it aint no 5 dozen she might go on strike if I did that.

Hey I know send them to Mitzi she just loves the guinea song at her house, lol.

The 3 Guineas that showed up are gone so I guess they went back to where they came from. I can hear a big group of them back behind us and I bet that's where they came from.

Your up to 3 bantams (2 blonde and 1 black) and then 3 doms and boy are those doms rolly pollys!!!! Fat little buggers and so sweet lol.
