i am pretty sure its a vitamin issue, so am supplimenting the feed- and she seems more alert- but i read where lack of some vitamins can cause them to lose leg control- ricketts... and since i wasn't feeding them chick feed, but the regular feed, am leaning that direction. Not worth saving pennies when these little guys are needing different feed....i have one little silkie/cochin that his feathers were tweaked, growing in sideways, and now his toes are curling under...![]()
Robin mix up some of the booster recipe and feed them some of that.. Also if you can get your hands on some Alfalfa pellets or Rooster
booster give them that as well. Another good suppliment is the Manna Pro and it does come in small like 2lb bags. Red Cell is a horse suppliment but if you use that give them no more then one drop of that daily as it's powerful stuff. And the old standby is the Poly-Vi-Sol infants vitamins, two drops daily of that.
They can be overdosed on vits. as well as any other thing so don't overdo it, the progress will be slow but it will happen. The problems didn't devolop overnight and they won't go away overnight either.
