Sorry, I read them after I posted. I have a habit of posting before I read on. I should be called "Straggler"I posted the list in an earlier post lol too many to list again got caught by that darn chicken math
I'm from Michigan but I am more used to the heat after 8 years here. 95* in the shade with a light breeze is comfortable to me now. To a typical Mchigander 85* is hot.Arctic!
Sorry, those were such nice birds. The chicken eating cat is no longer a problem, but she got 3 chicks before we caught her. One of the NN chicks (the lightest of the 3) and two of the araucana (the bbr female and the silver duckwing female). That just leaves me the male araucana chick.![]()
This one wasn't ours it was a feral cat.Sorry, those were such nice birds.
Our outdoor cat is a serious hunter but seems to not even see the chickens.![]()

Here's one place:
Don't throw them out. I've kept them for 6 months and couldn't tell any difference from the 3 week old eggs. When I have more than I need, I take out the older ones. Cook them up and feed them back to your chickens. Lots of good food and protein there.Need some advice here!!
How long does everyone keep their fresh eggs in their fridge? Just wandering whats the longest I can store them in the fridge before throwing them in the trash! Thanks everyone!
