Their temperaments are awesome, that's why I was considering caponizing all of them. I ended up with like 4 boys out of 7 in this hatch. By the time I got these guys plus the other boys here caponized I'd end up spending way too much. So I decided to place who I can. They're known to get along with other males and (like Faverolles) are more on the passive side. The adult Araucana boy I got from BanjoJoe is wonderful! Comes running to see me because he knows I've got food. Anything I give him he trucks it over to his girls, not an aggressive bone in his body. He's separated by a fence from the Cochin boy's yard and those 2 lay next to the fence together all the time, no fighting whatsoever. He's the reason I fell in love with this breed, they're so gentle and sweet. I've handled these babies a LOT so they're really tame. Splash is a really pretty color, I agree. The Blacks are cool though because they get a green and purple sheen on their feathers when theyr'e grown. They look like prisms.
